Our Mission

I have walked dogs in public spaces for many years and in that time have suffered, as many others have, my dogs being attacked, the dogs I’m walking attacking another strange dog, dogs running off and going missing and incidents involving vehicles.

These events make walking the dog stressful and the number of owners who you see nervously surveying other dogs and keeping their dog on lead so they can quickly go in the opposite direction, is at an all time high.

I have developed my business model to deal with many of these issues and the idea behind Packwalk is to give dogs the chance to exercise and socialise in small groups, in secure, enclosed fields with 6 feet fencing. This removes the “stranger” dog element and dogs being attacked and it removes the escape element and dogs running away and being lost or hurt.

The dogs are picked up from home and allowed to smell and be near to the other dogs in the pack, before running freely with them, so they can decide who to socialise with and when, all under the supervision of an experience ex police dog handler.

This service is offered to owners who may be working at home, or while they are at work or away.

The dogs should be non-aggressive and not likely to injure another dog. High energy or excitable dogs aren’t a problem and this will help to calm them down and improve their behaviour around other dogs.

Puppies and older dogs aren’t suitable, as they may not benefit from the group dynamic when dogs interact and could sustain injuries from the exertion.

Lichfield is our initial operating area and the dogs will come from Lichfield or areas very near to the centre. Reason being, if I have no transport for whatever reason, I can still walk or ride to each job and make sure the dogs are walked or let out to the toilet at the very least.
